Reflector Shields

Invented in 1,2651, Reflector Shields were an early Orcish shield technology. These energy fields had the capacity to reflect energy attacks away from the field, acting like an energy mirror. They were highly effective against laser attacks and other such early energy weapons, but fell into disuse when the energy outputs of modern energy weapons became too much for the shields to reflect back efficiently.
