Servitor

A servitor is the Bacterian equivalent of an android - a synthetic being with a degree of sentience. Typically consisting of a biometallic skeletal structure supported by hydraulic mechano-biological musculature and an outer layer of protein polysaccharides and polarized silicon, they are a peculiar cross of living tissue and inorganics.

Servitors are typically used for menial tasks by Bacterian royalty and military across the Empire. They are generally of limited intelligence, closer to semi-organic robots than a fully cognizant android, though some are fully capable of speech if such functions and knowledge are programmed into them. Their brains are typically programmed to perform only the task they were designed for, whether that be maintenance, construction, or even warfare.
