The Aikon Generation Four, alternatively referred to as the Aikon Starliner, differs from other Aikon ships greatly. It is capable of improved atmospheric flight / re-entry due to its better aerodynamics, smaller mass and more advanced guidance mechanisms.

The design is based on the original Aikon hull, but it is shortened drastically. Also, the main gun and most of the gun mounts have been removed to make the ship a lighter, more agile version of the Aikon.

Generation Four Aikons are used as scout vessels, support ships for IHSF sub-fleets and personal starliners for HFed citizens / colonial administrations / private enterprises. Several civilian models have even been converted for use by other species and sold on private markets, primarily in the Gigerdi Alliance.
