Albireo system

Jump to navigationJump to searchAlso known as Beta Cygni, Albireo is a system of two stars 35 light seconds apart. The smaller one (Albireo A) is a yellow-orange type K giant, while the other one (Albireo B) is a bluish type B star. The stars are so far away it takes them 100,000 years to complete one orbit.
