Biochemistry

Biochemistry is the study of the chemical processes within and relating to living organisms. It explores the structure, composition, and chemical reactions of substances in biological systems and how these relate to their functions and how to control them. Essentially, it combines biology and chemistry to understand the molecular basis of life.
