Brig

A brig is a ship's detention area where suspect individuals are being hold - possibly prisoners-of-war, stowaways, or delinquent crew members in need of punishment.

The brig is typically a reinforced room which can be locked from the outside, resembling a prison cell. It has few amenities; a bench and a small refresher. Many brigs feature hidden cameras and microphones.
