Cluster 1806-20

A star cluster on the opposite end of the Milky Way from Sol, Cluster 1806-20 is part of W31. The cluster is made up of some highly unusual stars, including at least two carbon-rich stars (WC9d and WCL), two blue hypergiants, and a magnetar (SGR 1806-20).

A radio nebula in the cluster, G10.0-0.3, hides another luminous blue variable hypergiant star (LBV 1806-20) at its core.
