Clanship

Clanships are large starships operated by Orc clans, crewed by members of a single clan. There are some instances where all members of a nomadic clan live aboard a single starship endlessly traveling through the cosmos, although most Orc clans maintain some type of permanent planetary headquarters.

While most clanships are considered private civilian vessels, most of them are heavily armed, on par with modern military starcraft. In fact, some have even been known to serve in the United Orcs Starfleet under UO government jurisdiction during times of war, although with some concessions from strict UOSF regulations due to their special nature.

In the early history of the UOSF, a majority of the fleet were clanships.
