Corruptors

A breed of genetically engineered life form, Corruptors are a type of bioweapon organism employed by the Bacterian Empire to overrun inhabited worlds. Deployed in great swarms, the purpose of a Corruptor in the bioweapon ecosystem is both offensive as well as that of a hive builder. It can hurl a corrosive liquid from its toothed mouth at great speeds. This acidic substance is designed to break down biomass for use as sustenance and building material for larger bioweapon spawning lairs.

Corruptors were deployed by the Bacterians on many UO worlds during the First Bacterian War, first on Aldaain during the opening stages of the Siege of Aldaain.
