The first Gigerdi ship which was manufactured in the orbital ship yards orbiting the moon of Gigerdi Prime. There was only one ship of the this design made, it was a prototype of the Gigerdi MK1 Light Cruiser which was touring around G-Prime and its moon(s). The ship was called Gigerdii due to its place of construction, and the Gigerdi effort of space exploration.

The ship needed very few crewmembers to able to be operated correctly. It had no jump drives but had a very fast set of sublight engines. The weaponry wasn't that great either but some small cannons had been installed in the front and the back. The Gigerdii was just a prototype vessel, it could not be used in a war situation anyway. Soon, when the official Gigerdi MK1 Class Light Cruisers line begun its construction the Gigerdi MK1A class was decommissioned.
