The Gigerdis was the first permanent space station the Gigerdians ever constructed. It was launched into the orbit of Gigerdi Prime in the Gigerdian year 2205. It served mainly as a supply depot for the orbiting ships and was later moved into the orbit of the moon of Gigerdi Prime, Gigerdii.
