HFed Agricultural Planning Authority

The Hemmoian Federation Agricultural Planning Authority is one of the myriad government bureaus of the Hemmoian Federation. The APA oversees agricultural projects and, in co-operation with the Regional Space Authority, the development of suitable planets into dedicated agriculture worlds.

The APA has had several conflicts with NPERC, the Hemmoian Federation's Nature Preservation and Evolutionary Regulations Commission. According to NPERC, the APA's policies have resulted in the loss of several unique ecosystems on a number of alien worlds. The APA, in turn, has harshly criticized NPERC as "standing in the way of progress."
