Heart of Typhared

The Heart of Typhared (R136a) is a dense star cluster in the Tarantula Nebula containing, among other things, twelve very massive and luminous stars in its core. Three extremely luminous stars (Avagon, Gishnu and Shaziga) dominate the cluster. Avagon is one of the most massive stars found to date as well as the most luminous.
