Holy Church of the Holy SID

An interstellar religious organization, the Holy Church of the Holy SID is dedicated to spreading their own particular interpretation of the teachings of The Holy SID. They also believe the SID to have been an "intergalactic superbeing" of godlike omnipotence.

According to their subspace broadcasts on the Collective, the "scope of the holy church of the SID is non-national, embracing all territories of interest to its membership. The Holy Church of the SID shall maintain its principal offices on Aldaain, from which it shall carry out its general administrative functions in accordance with applicable laws."

Beliefs

The belief system of the Holy Church is significantly more religious than that of mainstream sidologists. They maintain a strict belief in souls, the afterlife, and the practice of praying to the SID, all of which are basically absent from common sidology. Their stance is further characterized by the following tenets.

The Great Final Exodus

One of the core beliefs of the Church is that "the Great, Final Exodus" as prophesized by The 24 Pyramids is about to occur in the near future, and that sentient species everywhere should prepare their souls for this event.
