IHSF Caelestis

The IHSF Caelestis was a top secret science vessel in operation during the early IHC Era. Its origins and design are classified, but appeared to be based on alien technology.

The vessel went missing in action in the Medgar system in 3,xxx, having unwittingly activated the defenses of an ancient mining station, later known as the Medgar Station.

During operations above Cordip II, the IHSF Caelestis suffered a containment breach in its reactor core. The safety of the entire ship was put into jeopardy, but thanks to a valiant act of sacrifice by the vessel's commanding officer Sluggri, the engine room was successfully purged of radiation. Unforunately, the scientist received a lethal dose of radiation poisoning and could not be saved. Sluggri was later replaced by Science Officer Doschulg.
