Laser Rapier

A swordlike melee weapon, this energy lance projects a monofilament thread that is suspended in a contained energy field. Upon contact, the thread slices through organic and synthetic materials, permanently damaging most creatures and robots. Today, it is mostly a ritual weapon among the Orcs, but is still deadly if used correctly. Laser Rapiers were common in gang and clan wars back on Orceron.
