MK1 Assault Helicopter

The MK1 Assault Helicopter was a Ho'kan military aerospace craft in use during the V3 War. Usually deployed in large numbers during planetary campaigns, this light "jet-copter" with rockets was powerful against UO ground units. Its small size and ample speed made it a difficult target, but it was vulnerable to anti-aircraft fire.

The Mark 1 was also inexpensive, allowing entire squads to be quickly produced with few resources. When not on the offense, a squad made up of Mark 1's could form a "mechanized chaff," disrupting and flooding enemy target systems.

The Mark 1's speed and maneuverability carried the tradeoff of light armor and weaponry, making it vulnerable to attack. Its small size and high speed, however, made it a tough target.
