Marine Exo-Armour
Marine Exo-Armour (MXA) is an enhanced armor suit worn by UOCM marines for combat in especially hazardous situations, such as facing heavily fortified targets or armored vehicles. Powered Exo-Armour is worn over the trooper's body as a "second skin" enhancing natural movement so that they can concentrate on combat actions as opposed to moving the armor itself.
Armor
The Exo-Armour is a "micro-scale" heavy armor solution, bringing offensive and defensive benefits of larger combat vehicles to any individual soldier in battle. It is specifically designed for heavy assault in any difficult environments by combining staggering firepower with a range of integrated protective systems.
The Exo-Armour protects its operator with a suit of integrated systems. First, it has compound multi-layered armor that enables it to deflect lighter projectiles outright. Second, its integrated anti-nuclear, biological, and chemical systems permanently protect its wearer from a range of afflictions, including spores, cysts, virulence and acid scarring. Lastly, the system is largely impervious to radiation and fire.
Weapons
The armament of an Exo-Armour can range from chaingun autocannons to flamethrowers, railguns and laser cannons.
The Exo-Armour's biggest weaknesses, however, are its limited speed and maneuverability, byproducts of its heavy protective systems.
Other equipment
The Exo-Armour suits have jump jets installed into them to allow troopers to jump over obstacles and buildings with ease.
The suits have both audio as well as visual feeds that link directly to command and allow the commanding officer to remain in contact with their troopers as well as inform them of mission objectives. Furthermore, it had a HUD system to aid its user as well as a navigation system to help them locate their objectives.
