Namgron

The current Emperor of the Bacterian Empire, Professor Namgron is a man of unusually complex character. Unlike his predecessors, he has a scientific background instead of a military one, and is known as "the philosopher, the social reformer, and the man of science". He purged the top-heavy imperial bureaucracy and has attempted to reform Bacterian society with enlightened philosophical practices.

The Imperial Navy's modern backbone, the Namgron class battleship, was named after him.
