Nanasban class light escort

An early Zoltan Orbital Space Yards starship design, the Nanasban class light escort was mainly intended for IHSF fleet support and cargo transport between Independent Hypersentience colonies. The design has proved to be extremely robust, and heavily modified versions of old Nanasban class vessels are still in use by the IHSF and local colonial administrations. Some of the later models have even been used as light science vessels.

Refit versions of this class follow the naming scheme Nanasban RN class, where N is the number of the current refit generation. The sixth generation is the latest upgrade from Zoltan Yards. The standard IHSF individual starship registry code for ships of this class is AB, followed by a numeric identifier.
