The Ogaitinsha class heavy carrier was used by the Gigerdi Federation during the H'vos conflict and was designed about a decade before it. The ship was named after the soon to be emperor Neeple Ogaitinsha. Initially there was only one of them made as a demonstration of a new heavier type of ship. The first Ogaitinsha class carrier's name was the Sheppard, which carried many squadrons of fighters against the H'vos forces invading Gigerdi territories. Later on few more Ogaitinshas were built to serve in patrol duties and to prepare for potential new threats. Eventually the design was abandoned by Gigerdian officials due to their awful price and construction time. The design is currently at least 200 years old.
