Oort Cloud

Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Oort Cloud is a cloud of objects about 50 000 AU away from the central sun of the Sol system, which harbors long-period comets, water ice, ammonia ice and methane ice. The boundary of the Oort Cloud is also the boundary of Sol's gravitational pull. The cloud is two light years across.
