Particle Beams

Particle beams emit high energy streams of subatomic particles that cause disruptive chain reactions in the atoms of the target material. The particle beam has a shorter range and less power than other capital-scale weaponry. They are used aboard Gigerdian vessels, mostly, primarily as anti-starfighter weapons.
