Self-Destruct Device

Jump to navigationJump to searchA Self-Destruct Device is a computer controlled device which overloads a ship's engines and destroys the ship. Self-destruct devices are a commonplace aboard military and transport vessels which must not fall into enemy hands. Some civilian vessels also have self-destruct devices for emergency use in case the ship gets out of control and is about to ram something.
