Singularity Reactor

The Singularity Reactor is an advanced power plant developed by scientists of the Hemmoian Federation at Ta'mag, based on reverse-engineered technology left over from an ancient civilization. The driving force of a Singularity Reactor is a miniature hypermass which is fed matter at a steady rate. This singularity is used to manipulate space-time itself.

The Singularity Reactor is practically a perpetual power source, and can power a very large number of systems simultaneously. However, many of its reverse-engineeered incarnations require tiers of secondary and tertiary power systems for proper containment.

The first known Singularity Reactor was encountered by HFed research teams studying The Apex, a gigantic derelict alien vessel discovered in the Delta Outer Rim.
