Sociology is the branch of science dealing with the study of the societies of sentient beings and how they interact with each other.

Those skilled in this can communicate better with other species. They also have a good understanding about other society’s laws, rituals, and taboos. They can recognize religious symbols and have a better understanding of how others worship. They can behave in a way that does not offend another group of people, potentially opening the door for trading and bartering goods.

Fields of study

Fields of sociology include social structure, interaction and behavior among individuals and groups, representative racial and ethnic groups, races and species, conflict and conflict resolution, cultural dynamics, culture types and archetypes, memetics in society, the effects of technological influence and AI administration, religious and ideological beliefs and practices, interaction between sentients of different information processing speeds, sex and species differentiation, criminal behavior, economic stratification, population density, and political structure. Various applications include administrative science, applied memetics, public relations, law enforcement, social engineering, and community planning.
