Space Invalids

The entities known as The Space Invalids were reported attacking Antimaniac settlements located in their home system. They were said to "communicate by telepathy and radiowaves" and "spit acid at their victims", and were told to have destroyed at least one planet in the Antimaniac system prior to the Antimaniac contact with the Hemmoian Federation. The group was supposedly led by the "Space Invalid Captain".

Later, during the Peace Station Era, it was discovered that the Space Invalids were merely a plan devised by the Bacterians to impose terror and fear on the Antimaniacs. The Bacterian empire at the time did not take responsibility of the acts of terror and destruction despite considerable pressure from the Hemmoian Federation and both of the Gigerdian states. Debate on the matter was later rendered moot as the Bacterians annihilated all life in the Antimaniac system during the Second Bacterian War.
