Starbuilder class heavy shipyard platform

The Starbuilder class heavy shipyard platform was a mobile construction starship designed by Riletian engineers during the Second Age. The vessel was designed as a self-contained modular spaceyard ship capable of independent operation and FTL travel. In addition to the heavy duty construction bays, a key aspect of the design was a refinery assembly complete with a molecular furnace, allowing the use of raw materials, such as asteroids, on-site.

The first ship of this class was Starbuilder One, under the command of Zernok Ïesne-Teeler. The starship operated outside the Rilet system, assisting with orbital repairs and construction projects in many Riletian colonies. The ship was eventually decommissioned and its components reused at the Refuge to construct the HemmoCruiser III.
