Thrust Gravity

Thrust gravity is a specific type of Simulated Gravity - the steady burn of a spacecraft's sublight drive pushing objects within the craft against the vessel's "back wall", creating the illusion of gravity based on the amount of thrust applied.

As spacecraft drives became more powerful, the G forces involved became too much for an organic crew to sustain. Both the lack of gravity and the devastating effects of thrust gravity were nullified with the development of inertial dampers and artificial gravity.
