Union Standard Time

Union Standard Time was a standard system of galactic time coordinates in use in the United Orcs and its colonies in the Second Age of Hemmoian chronology. It replaced Orceron Standard Time, the previously used universal time coordinate, as the planet Orceron had been destroyed and the command world of the civilization was now Aldaain. UST incorporated a standard day system calculated from the equatorial time zone of Aldaain.

Under UST, the cycles of Hemmoian chronology were known as dates and one year was referred to as a kilodate, or k-date. Dates were given in the format Age,Kilodate.Date. The 500th full year in the Second Age, for an example, would have the dates 2,500.000 - 2,500.999.

With the disbanding of the Union, Federation Standard Time formally replaced the system, although there were few differences between the two.
