The Vobyscum Fragments are the remains of an ancient star atlas containing numerous star charts depicting the Bacterian Home Galaxy. Said to be prepared for the Emperor by the Bacterian astronomer Gorig Syktyvkar Vobyscum XVI some time before the Second Void Expurgation, the atlas catalogues major and minor objects in the Bacterian Home Galaxy, such as star clusters, important star systems, nebulae, trade routes, and political borders. As no Milky Way explorer has ever been able to set foot in the BHG, also known as the Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy to some, the Vobyscum Fragments remain one of the primary sources for names, details and other information regarding this mysterious area of space.

The Bacterian Empire itself has been unwilling to provide a full copy of the work for analysis, but several Fragments of the atlas have been located on a number of Bacterian worlds around the Milky Way. Thus the catalogue of objects remains incomplete. The first Fragment was found by Orcish archeologist Gammuck J. CCVërtrzözz in the wreck of an old abandoned Bacterian star cruiser.
