WISEPA J182831.08+265037.8 (abbreviated WISE 1828+2650) is one of the coolest known brown dwarfs or free-floating planets. It is a Y dwarf with an estimated effective temperature around 300 K. The spectra of these objects display absorption around 1.55 micrometers.
The dwarf is located around 36 light years from Sol system. It is similar in appearance to the other Y-type object WD 0806-661 B.
