Öree Ärvasti
A survivor of the First Bacterian War, Öree of the clan Ärvasti was a maintenance man who lived on Aldaain. When the Siege of Aldaain began, he became a refugee, eventually ending up in the Refuge, working under Törmö of Parsek at the mining station's Refinery. When the UOSF HemmoCruiser III was completed, he became one of the cryogenically preserved crewmembers.
After the war, Ärvasti returned to his home on Aldaain and resumed his work handling various radioactive materials such as uranium.
Öree was a man of legends and had a reputation of indestructibility. It has been told that while acting as a maintenance man aboard a JD-200-A class freighter, he once got stuck inside the vessel's fission reactor and survived for six weeks solely by eating plutonium.
Upon being discovered in the reactor of IHSF Jiidee, Öree was reported as giving the statement "I'm hungry and radioactive, but happy!" Öree also claimed to have performed various other incredible feats prior to this incident, which included bathing in burning petroleum, swimming in a pool of water with 10 000 volts of electricity running through it, and sleeping in a black hole. These claims were not verified by the Great Hemmoian Science Assembly.
