The second widely used refit of the legendary Aikon hull, the Aikon MKII is special in many ways. Firstly, it was one of
the first ship types to completely replace starfighters
with attack drones. Secondly, the standard Aikon hull was
heavily modified in order to fit the drone launching bays to
the ship. A large amount of crew quarters were removed, and
the propulsion system was also modified.
In addition to serving in the IHSF, Aikon Mk.II class vessels have also been seen employed by the United Orcish Empire as well as the Riletian Republic. Some may also be in the hands of the Democratic Hemmoian Republic.
