Beasts

Beasts are genetically engineered organic killing machines. Also known as biomechs, these monstrous creatures are essentially the organic main battle tanks of Bacterian invasion forces. They are armed with the most advanced biological weapons and are used primarily as shock troopers to carry out starship boarding actions, frontal shock assaults on entrenched positions and for besieging fortified locations or enemy armour formations. They are typically delivered into the target area via space-launched Bioweapon Pods.

As the Bacterians are constantly evolving their forces, many different species of the Beasts exist, including Armoured Beasts and Superbeasts. These creatures come in many forms, but each is a creature of muscle, fangs, and claws, with only the thought of carnage driving it. However, all of them share some common characteristics: they are very large creatures, standing significantly larger than a common humanoid; they have a thick carapace, which provides excellent protection from damage, and they frequently use some type of bio-weaponry.

Siege of Aldaain

Tens of thousands of Beasts were contained in the star fortresses of the Imperial Bacterian Expedition Fleet Lost Paradise that acted as the embassies of the Bacterian Empire on planet Aldaain. In the devastating first volleys of the First Bacterian War, they were launched against the population of the world, resulting in millions of casualties.
