EMP Cannons

EMP cannons fire an electro-magnetic pulse which disrupts electrical systems and causes extensive shield damage, but no physical damage. They are favored among Ollapukkitians and governments that like to capture enemy vessels like the DHR and the Riletian Republic.

Ships with adequately shielded electronics can deflect much of the damage caused by this weapon, although even hardened circuits can be fried by increasing the level of EMP discharge. Due to its nature, the cannon also has an extremely short range and uses large amounts of power.
