Even though the secretive Telepathic reinforcement agency and central intelligence organization of the Gigerdi Alliance does not admit it, it does possess at least a few larger capital ships. The Fettgesicht class carrier, The Giftmacher is one of them, and also acts as the unofficial flagship and command center of the entire small, but well-hidden Armada. The existence of this particular vessel is a great secret for the Section 18, which sometimes goes to great and unexpected legths in order to keep it a secret.
The Fettgesich class functions in a similar way to the GA Valencia Mk.I and Mk.II cruisers. Its' main purpose is, however, to act as a mobile base for the Section 18 and its' operations. Some sorts of research and detention facilities are also believed to be inside the carrier. The ship itself is also constantly on the move, and it stays cloaked for long periods of time with its' state-of-the-art Non-Tachyon cloaking device.
It is not known when exactly was it when the construction of this vessel begun. It is assumed, however, that as soon as the Section 18 possessed the funding to begin covert operations - which happened at the very beginning of President Rubek's reign, plans for the construction of this vessel was carried out.
