Interplanetary Alliance Military
The Interplanetary Alliance Military (IAM) is a joint military force composed of combined Interplanetary Alliance member state militaries. It is divided into two major service branches, the Interplanetary Fleet (IPF) and the Interplanetary Ground Forces (IPGF).

Chain of command
The Central Council is directly in command of the military. The council has five admirals as representatives from the IAM, which reflects the importance of the Fleet over the entire military force. There are no generals from the IPGF in the council.
No specific colonial defense forces exist in the IPA, but planet protectors are assigned to target worlds from the ranks of the IPF by military commanders or by the order of the Central Council when needed.
The IAM has its headquarters on planet Inster. Several other major bases are located in other IPA colonies; specifics are currently unknown.
Manpower
The Interplanetary Alliance Military has 600 million enlisted troops, with additional forces provided by colonial militias (130 million), and various other militias (90 million).
Ground forces, like in all the other races, consists of clone troopers.
