Interplanetary Fleet
Also known as the IPA starfleet, the Interplanetary Fleet (IPF) consists of the combined fleet assets of the Interplanetary Alliance. It is one of the two service branches of the Interplanetary Alliance Military, along with the Interplanetary Ground Forces (IPGF).
No specific colonial defense forces exist in the IPA, but planet protectors are assigned to target worlds from the ranks of the IPF by military commanders or by the order of the Central Council when needed.
Starships
The IPF is one of the most diverse starfleets in the Galaxy. It is composed of classes of starships from all over the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, including Gigerdian, Folan, Human and Vemrer designs, some of which have been heavily modified. To add into the mix, the IPA also manufactures several types of starships of their own design.
