NKTR-500P Service Laser Pistol

The NKTR-500P Service Laser Pistol was intented or rather hoped to be an official sidearm of officers serving in the Gigerdi Federation's armed forces. This design was never officially adopted as the service type, but rather just became the sidearm of a select few willing to carry it onto missions.

The pistol operated in the same manner as did the laser rifle of the series, the NKTR-500 Laser Assault Rifle. However the pistol itself was a large, long and sleek design, which was not always that easily carried without a specially designed holster. The holster was often slung around the waist or upper parts of a leg with the assistance of a belt.

The weapon was viewed as far too cumbersome and slow to handle in the long run.
