NKTR-500 Laser Assault Rifle

The NKTR-500 laser assault rifle was one of the standard service rifles of the Gigerdi Federation some years before the H'vos War. Even by the standards of that time the rifle was considered somewhat aging or perhaps even obsolete, since other beam weapons were already in production back then.

The rifle was a standard laser rifle emitting a concentrated beam of coherent light with sufficient wattage. The rifle used battery packs for power and included a built-in scope on top of the weapon for more accurate shots.

The NKTR-500 series also included a sidearm of similar fashion, known as the NKTR-500P Service Laser Pistol.
