The Namgron class dreadnought was designed when or shortly after professor Namgron became the new emperor of the Bacterian Empire, and is obviously named after him.

Considered to be the backbone of the current Bacterian fleets, the Namgron class dreadnoughts are all-purpose attack vessels with formidable organic shielding and heavy firepower. A Namgron Dreadnought has been known to destroy an entire subfleet of Aikon mk.IIIs, both in simulations and in real battle. The ship also includes a handy cloaking device for surprise attacks.
