Operations officer

Aboard a military starship, the operations officer is responsible for the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of combat and operational information required by the mission of the ship. This covers the areas of subluminal and FTL search; control of auxiliary vessels (shuttlecraft, fightercraft, drones and probes; collection, display, analysis and dissemination of intelligence; preparations of operating plans and schedules; space terrain information; and repair of electronic equipment.

The following officers, if assigned, may report to the operations officer:
