Outer Fringe

Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Outer Fringe was the shifting boundary in space which defines the region between UO colonised planets and unpopulated space. The construction of new colonies increases the limits of the Outer Fringe.
In time, with colonial space reaching the edge of the Galaxy, this term gradually changed to Outer Rim, meaning the outer rim of the Galaxy itself.
