Plasma Lance

A Plasma Lance is a brutal plasma-based close quarters starship weapon. Similar to cutting beams used on mining ships, the Plasma Lance channels engine plasma directly from the starship's fusion reactor. What the resulting plasma beam lacks in range, it makes up in sheer burning energy.

Plasma Lances were used by the UOSF before and during the First Bacterian War.
