High Chancellor of the Realm

In the Bacterian Empire, the High Chancellor of the Realm is the head of the Court of Bacterium, answering directly to the Emperor.

The High Chancellor presides over the Ministry of Central Affairs, as well as the minor Chancellors in charge of planetary systems, the Great Councilor, and the Keepers of the Empire's Sword and Shield. The ministers in turn control other elements of the government.
