Orion-Cygnus Arm
From Peace Station Encyclopedia
(Redirected from Orion Arm)
Jump to navigationJump to searchOne of the numerous spiral arms of the Milky Way, the Orion-Cygnus Arm extends through the border of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. It contains the home systems of several sentient species, including humans (Sol), lihters (?), folans, etc. and is heavily colonized by the United Commonwealth of Planets. Because of this, the region is also known in the UCP as the Local Arm, the Local Spur or the Orion Spur.
The Orion Arm is located between the Sagittarius Arm and the Perseus Arm, two of the four major arms of the Milky Way.
