Ollapukkiti Prime (also known as Ola Puk Iti) is the homeworld of the Ollapukkitians and the control world of the Ollapukkiti Commonwealth. The planet is located in the Orbeus 6 system, the same as Aldaain.

The world is famous for its crystal cities, bioluminescent micro-organisms and temperate oceans.

Composition

Ollapukkiti Prime is a large terrestrial world with a mass of 176.8156 x 10²⁴ kg and a high surface gravity. It has an oxygen based atmosphere, but is poisonous to almost all other species.

History

Early history

The Commonwealth of Ollapukkiti was originally founded as a defensive alliance among three major nations on the planet. In succeeding years, other localities joined the original three, and the Commonwealth became a global government, finally expanding all the way to the planet's rich moon system.

The outermost moon, an exotic carbon world known as Ollapukkiti-6, became a source of durable diamondoid starship hull materials for Commonwealth Clipper ships.

In the United Orcs

Ollapukkiti Prime was never considered for colonization by the UO, since from their perspective it has a poisonous atmosphere.

The Ollapukkitians had not developed FTL propulsion technology at the time of First Contact.

Bacterian occupation

During the First Bacterian War, Ollapukkiti Prime was occupied by invasion forces. All starship travel was suspended by an orbital blockade. The occupation was directed from aboard the BES Scourge of Tugrus, a Contagion class juggernaut.
