History of the 93218432 Cyberocracy

Much of the history of the 93218432 Cyberocracy remain shrouded in mystery. Although 93218432s established contact to other races many years ago they have remained an isolated state.

Early years

Information on the early years of the 93218432s remain highly unclear, but what is known is that the 93218432s are a relatively young race, but have grown and evolved at a much faster rate than other races. 93218432s achieved space travel about 200 years ago, on Gigerdian year 3132. At this time the 93218432s had already united together and formed the cyberocracy. Their computer technology had been highly advanced over hundred years prior to their space exploration and this had allowed them to establish an effective and reliable governing system. Details from the time before space travel are unclear, but it is speculated that before the birth of the cyberocracy they were packed in communities of varying size. What seems to be clear is that 93218432s have been very willing to work together for the most, if not entire, of their existence.

Colonization and first contact

As 93218432s have always been very keen on prioritizing it took them relatively long time to establish interstellar space travel as it was deemed unnecessary for a long time. However, once it became clear that space travel and expansion was needed it proceeded very rapidly and, because of that, has seen a very rapid increase. Thanks to their efficient reproduction and capability to adapt to many forms of environments they were able to colonize planets at a fast pace and also many planet types that most races would find unsuitable. Eventually, however, they encountered the Gigerdi Federation. At first 93218432s seemed highly puzzled when they encountered such an advanced species and this was one of the few times that a state wide "confusion" took place. Due to their habit for rational thinking and smaller emotional behavior they were able to overcome this "confusion" quite soon. While the 93218432s had anticipated the encounter of alien species this was nonetheless a surprise to them, especially the relatively short time it took to find another alien race (records indicate about 70 Earth years) from the start of the colonization era.

Establishing treaties

The 93218432s were very interested in the Gigerdians from the very beginning although they were also very cautious as they weren't sure whether the Gigerdians would be a friendly or hostile race. This encounter also limited their expansion and was also a stumbling block in establishing treaties between the two races. When the negotiations for a non-aggression pact began there were several systems that the 93218432 Cyberocracy claimed as their own, while also a few systems that the Gigerdi Federation were claiming. The negotiations took several months, but eventually the two sides agreed on the current borders and a non-aggression pact was established. The Gigerdi Federation ambassadors were impressed that the 93218432 Cyberocracy ambassadors never showed any kind of fear towards the Gigerdi Federation, although the federation had clearly superior military. Through the Gigerdi Federation the 93218432 Cyberocracy established connection with the United Commonwealth of Planets, Folan Star Empire, Dand Oligarchy and Vemrer Minarchism. With UCP treaties were soon signed, but the other races showed little interest in dealing with the 93218432s. After the first contact with the Gigerdians these new contacts with other races no longer caused much reaction among the populace, especially as all these other races were quite distant.

93218432s continued expansion in directions away from the Gigerdi Federation, as agreed on their treaty. Unlike with many other races, there was no migration between peoples as no 93218432 wanted to leave their territory and no aliens were allowed to reside in the 93218432 Cyberocracy territory, except for predetermined periods (similar to visa). The 93218432 Cyberocracy kept only limited contact with the GF and UCP, mainly through trade or through some research or exploration collaborations. Generally the 93218432s remained as a rather mysterious race that no one knew much about.

Several years later the 93218432 deep space exploratory forces encountered the Jerdie Ochlocracy, or rather one of the "companies". The first contact wasn't too friendly, although later on the Jerdies showed surprisingly high interest with the 93218432s. Due to their rational nature the 93218432s decided to, once again, proceed cautiously with the Jerdie Ochlocracy in case the Jerdies had some hidden agendas. Eventually this turned out to be correct and the 93218432s decided to cut all diplomatic contact with the Jerdie Ochlocracy and enhance the protection of their ships when traveling in the area of space closer to the the Jerdie space. This diplomatic isolation has continued ever since.

Peace Station project

Contact with the United Orcs and the Bacterian Empire was established through the Gigerdi Federation and a non-aggression pact was signed with the UO. The years between this and the Peace Station were described as "uneventful", with the 93218432s still remaining relatively isolated from the other races. The Peace Station project was welcomed by the 93218432s as good idea, but they were very doubtful of whether it would eventually work.
